RCDRC is pleased to announce that the membership elected a new board of directors on May 15, 2018 during this month's Long Term Recovery Group Meeting at Chestnut United Methodist Church in Lumberton. The new board consists of 4 officers, 4 at-large members, and the executive director.

Moving forward RCDRC's board, staff, members, strategic partners, donors, and the community have an opportunity to advance our mission and vision, and further develop sustainability and recovery strategies collaboratively within a working environment that is focused on shared responsibility, mutual accountability, and transparency. Moreover, since the governing body features a diverse set of experiences ranging from education, housing, public health, case-management, spiritual care, and more, the organization has substantially increased it's capacity to expand our ongoing efforts that illuminate the multi-dimensional disaster related unmet needs that exist throughout Robeson County. Therefore we look forward to the future and continue to invite the community to join us as we work together to Renew Robeson!

Next month's Long Term Recovery Group meeting will be held at West Lumberton Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC on June 12, 2018 at 2:00pm.
